Thank you for your interest in joining the 2nd cohort of West100 leaders. Please do browse the posts on this site to learn more about our movement's ethos and our shared purpose of eradicating educational inequality in the West Country. Below you will also find key headlines about West100 and how to apply:
How much will it cost? £3500 for a secondary and £1500 for a primary participant. Please do still get in touch if this seems impossible for your school or trust; we take our commitment to tackling educational disadvantage seriously and don’t want funding to be a barrier.
How much time will it take?
This programme runs for one academic year, from September 2024 until June 2025.
It will require you to be out of school for about 13 days (for school visits and conferences) and the international visit is likely to be a 5 day commitment in your Easter holiday.
There will be 12 evening webinars throughout the year
There will be about 15 hours of asynchronous learning to complete per term (3 x ‘Headteacher tasks’ to complete and present on + pre-recorded material and reading).
How can I learn more? We’ll be holding online information events on Monday 11th March and Wednesday 20th March @ 7:30pm, with plenty of time to ask questions too. If you’d like to join one of these, please register your interest here.
How do I apply? You can apply here. Applications close on 24th May and we will hold a selection day on Wednesday 19th June.
If you would like to find out more or have any questions about the application process, please book in a call with Vicky here.
